Registration open for UNI basketball’s Tip-Off Breakfast

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The UNI men's and women's basketball program invites its fans to join coaches, student-athletes and department staff for the 2025-26 Panther Basketball Tip-Off Breakfast.
The event, which will be held on Oct. 22 at 7 a.m. CT at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cedar Falls, is open to the public with registration open for $50 per person with proceeds supporting the UNI Athletic Department. Registration for the event can be found HERE.
Attendees will hear from both Panther men's head coach Ben Jacobson and women's head coach Tanya Warren on the upcoming 2025-26 seasons, along with introductions of both team's staff and rosters.
Season tickets for the 2025-26 Panther men's and women's basketball season can be purchased online through the UNI Ticket Office, by calling 319-273-4849 or through email at tickets@uni.edu. Single game tickets will go on sale at a later date. The ticket office will be on site during the breakfast to answer any questions and assist with ticket purchases.
Fans are also encouraged to join the Panthers this preseason at the fourth annual Main Street Madness on Thursday, Sept. 25 in downtown Cedar Falls with skills challenges, autographs and giveaways and more. More information on Main Street Madness can be found HERE.
The UNI women's basketball will host Truman State on Oct. 29 in a preseason exhibition before opening the regular season on Nov. 3 at home against North Dakota State. Northern Iowa will kick off its men's season with an exhibition against Upper Iowa on Nov. 1 with the regular season opener scheduled for Nov. 6 vs. Cal State Northridge.
