Cardoso, Dalecka named CSC Academic All-District

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its NCAA Division I 2024-25 Academic All-District Teams on Tuesday afternoon. The no. 1 doubles pair of Lorena Cardoso and Darta Dalecka was named to the Academic All-District Team.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Balancing academic success with athletic achievement, both seniors Cardoso and Dalecka played a key role in helping the Panthers earn their first MVC Team Tournament berth since 2022. UNI closed out the regular season with a 7-14 overall record and a 4-4 mark in conference play, securing the five-seed in the postseason tournament.
