Zac Reynolds joins Panther staff as Director of Equipment

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The UNI Athletic Department on Thursday announced the hiring of Zac Reynolds as its new Director of Equipment.
In his role, Reynolds will oversee all equipment room operations and staff, and provide uniform and equipment maintenance, repairs and inventory for UNI's 17 varsity sponsored sports programs.
"We're thrilled to welcome Zac to the Panther family as our new Director of Equipment," said Jerry Wollmering, UNI's Senior Associate Athletic Director - Chief Financial Officer. "Zac's previous experience of not just working in, but leading a Division I equipment staff pays dividends to his leadership skills. We are excited to work with him, and are also excited for our student-athletes to be able to work with him on a daily basis with their equipment and uniform needs."
Reynolds, a 2020 graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Sport and Exercise, most recently served as Assistant Director of Equipment at Northern Colorado, where he was responsible for placing orders for equipment and apparel, maintaining and reconditioning team equipment, monitoring inventory, overseeing laundry duties and traveling with teams as needed for road games.
In addition to his time at Northern Colorado, Reynolds, a Denison, Iowa native, also served a stint as Recreation Coordinator for the City of Greeley, ordering uniforms, prizes and sports equipment for local recreational activities. An active member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association (AEMA), he also worked as a locker room attendant for the Colorado Eagles, the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the National Hockey League's (NHL) Colorado Avalanche, as well as a volunteer equipment managers for Northern Colorado's club hockey team.
