Kaylyn King joins PSC staff as Donor Relations, Stewardship and Special Events Coordinator

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- The UNI Athletic Department and Panther Scholarship Club (PSC) on Monday announced the hiring of Kaylyn King as Donor Relations, Stewardship and Special Events Coordinator. Athletics Development Coordinator.
King, a Wisconsin native and 2023 UNI graduate will assist in the coordination of all aspects of the Panther Scholarship Club (PSC), oversee hospitality, tailgating, and premium spaces at home UNI Athletics events; work on PSC and Athletic special events, implement a stewardship and benefit fulfillment strategy for PSC members, and serve as the department's liaison to the UNI Alumni Association.
"We are incredibly excited to welcome Kaylyn King to the UNI Athletics and Panther Scholarship Club team," said Steven McKee, UNI's Assistant Athletic Director of Revenue Generation. "Her tailored experience toward donor relations, hospitality and events will undoubtedly help us continue to enhance the PSC experience for our members and properly thank them for the investment they are making in our student athletes."
King, who recently graduated from the University of Iowa with a master's degree in Sport and Recreation Management, previously worked in the PSC office as an undergraduate student at UNI, assisting the PSC and the Assistant Athletic for Revenue Generation with daily tasks and helping provide information to new, current and prospective donors. She also worked with UNI's athletic facilities team in game day management with event planning, setup and supervision.
As a graduate student, King worked in the University of Iowa's Center for Advancement, helping provide support for new facility campaigns and other special projects and fundraising initiatives. She also helped staff, set up and manage multiple fan events organized by the Hawkeyes' development team.
A Waunakee, Wisconsin native, King's family history with UNI stretches back decades. Her grandfather, Lynn King, was a two-sport athlete for the Panthers in track and field and football in the 1960s, and later became UNI's head track and cross country coach in 1976. He was later named the Director of the UNI-Dome in 1984 for marketing, planning, promotion and schedule of facilities.
