ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Valley Football Conference (MVFC) released its weekly awards, and Bill Jackson was named the Offensive Player of the Week.
After a career day against Murray State, Bill Jackson claimed the first Valley honor of his career and UNI's second weekly award of the season. The redshirt-senior running back finished the matchup against Murray State with 143 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries. Jackson's three touchdowns were his first rushing touchdowns of the season. He also recorded the first multi-touchdown game of his career. The last time a Panther rushed for three touchdowns was at Indiana State in 2023, when Harrison Bey-Buie rushed for three. Bill Jackson was UNI's first 100-yard rusher of the season and UNI's first since Tye Edwards last season against Missouri State.
The Panthers are back in action on Saturday, November 15 in Fargo, North Dakota, as they match up with the reigning FCS National Champion and FCS top-seeded North Dakota State Bison inside the Fargodome. Kickoff is slated for 2:30 p.m. CT with coverage available on ESPN+ and the Panther Sports Radio Network.
UNI football action can be followed all season long on social media on Facebook (UNI Football), X (@UNIFootball) and on Instagram (@unipantherfootball). The full 2025 schedule and roster, along with the latest Panther news and information can be found online at UNIpanthers.com.
