UNI tennis releases 2025 Spring schedule

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — The UNI tennis team released its 2025 Spring schedule on Tuesday afternoon. The Spring schedule features 20 duals before the MVC Team Tournament, including eight Missouri Valley Conference matchups leading into the three-day conference tournament.
The Spring season gets underway on Jan. 25 with a two-dual road trip, including one at Northern Illinois on the 25th and at Eastern Illinois on the 26th. The Panthers return home for three duals, starting with a Jan. 31 meeting with Air Force and a Feb. 1 matchup with Creighton. The Cats round out the weekend at home against Gustavus Adolphus on Feb. 2.
UNI hits the road on February 7 to take on Western Illinois before heading to North Dakota to take on Montana State on Feb. 15 and North Dakota on Feb. 16. The Panthers return home for a pair of duals including one against St. Thomas Feb. 21 and one against SIU Edwardsville Feb. 23. The last Panther road non-con test comes at Milwaukee on Mar. 8 before UNI rounds out the non-conference slate at home against Omaha Mar. 14.
The MVC schedule opens on Mar. 22 when UNI heads to Tennessee to take on Belmont on Mar. 22 to kick off a three-dual road stretch. The trip continues Mar. 29 at Illinois State before rounding out at Bradley on Mar. 30.
The Spring schedule regular-season rounds out with a five-dual home slate which opens with a meeting between UNI and UIC on Apr. 5 and an Apr. 6 matchup with Valparaiso. An Apr. 12 meeting with Drake and an Apr. 18 dual against Murray State continue the home stand before rounding out the regular season on Apr. 19 against Missouri State.The Panthers then head to Valparaiso, Indiana to compete in the MVC Team Tournament Apr. 25-27.
