Panther football signs 23 to 2024 class

UNI signs 19 high school athletes and three transfers to 2024 class.
CEDAR FALLS — The UNI football program announced the signing of 23 new faces to the 2024 roster. This class includes 20 high school athletes and three transfers. Of the 19 high schoolers, 13 are staying in their home state of Iowa.
Signees include:

Cale McThenia
A quarterback out of Marian Central Catholic High School, McThenia finished his senior season as an Illinois 2A 1st Team All-State, an IHSFCA 1st Team All-Area, and a 1st Team All-State selection. The season saw him complete 72% of his passes throwing for 3,156 yards and 40 touchdowns. McThenia also ran for 552 yards on 95 rushing attempts and recorded eight rushing touchdowns.
Briggs Hughston
A tight end out of West Plains High School, Hughston was named a Missouri Class 4 2nd Team All-State athlete. His senior season saw 1,080 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns on 58 receptions. He was a Missouri "Dominant Dozen" selection as well as a 1st Team SWMFCA athlete.
Ethan Dallen
A defensive lineman out of Sioux City North High School, Dallen was a 1st Team All-District and an Academic All-State selection. He finished his senior season as the 5A regular season sack leader with five sacks.
Parker Thomas
An offensive lineman out of Sheldon Community High School, Thomas was a Des Moines Register 2A All-State selection as well as an IFCA / IPSWA 2A 1st Team All-State offensive lineman.
Connor Kayser
A linebacker out of Ankeny High School, Kayser was named the District Defensive MVP and a 1st Team All-State selection. He finished his senior season with 60 solo tackles and 4.5 sacks.
Sam Thomas
An offensive lineman out of Elkhorn North High School, Thomas was a Nebraska Super State 2nd Team defensive lineman and a Class B All-State selection.
Brock Carpenter
A defensive back out of Western Dubuque High School, Carpenter was an IFCA / IPSWA 4A 1st Team All-State returner and was a State Championship runner-up.
Dillon Marshall
A defensive back out of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School, Marshall was a Kansas 4A All-State defensive back and ended his senior season a State Champion.
Landen Kuennen
An offensive lineman out of Waukee Northwest High School, Kuennen was a two-time All-District selection as well as an IFCA / IPSWA 5A 2nd Team All-State offensive lineman.
Tono Cornell
A defensive lineman out of Iowa City High School, Cornell was named 1st Team All-District and 2nd Team All-Conference after his senior season.
Titus Cram
A running back out of Bondurant-Farrar High School, Cram was an IFCA / IPSWA 1st Team All-State selection as well as a Des Moines Register 4A All-State running back.
Kaden Amigon
A running back out of Columbus Community High School, Amigon was a Des Moines Register A Utility selection and an IFCA / IPSWA A 1st Team All-State running back.
Aidan Miller
A defensive lineman out of Millard South High School, Miller was a Nebraska Super State 1st Team defensive lineman and a three-time All-District selection.
Ben Gordon
A wide receiver out of Van Meter High School, Gordon was a three-time State Champion. He was named to the Des Moines Register All-State Elite Team and the IFCA / IPSWA 2A All-State 1st Team as a running back. Gordon finished with the second-most all-purpose yards in the state.
Brady McDonald
A tight end out of Independence High School, McDonald was a three-time All-District and 2024 Shrine Bowl selection. He finished his senior season with 40 receptions for 328 yards and four touchdowns.
Franz Reisz
A defensive lineman out of Harlan Community High School, Reisz was an IFCA / IPSWA 3A 2nd Team All-State defensive lineman.
Aidan Salow
A defensive lineman out of Maquoketa Valley High School, Salow was a Des Moines Register A All-State defensive lineman and an IFCA / IPSWA A 1st Team offensive lineman.
Karson Elwood
A wide receiver out of Treynor High School, Elwood was named to the IFCA / IPSWA All-State 2nd Team.
Jordan Saintilus
A defensive back out of Blanche Ely High School, Saintilus was a Dade vs. Broward All-State game selection and was named to the All-County 2nd Team.
Antonio Scott
A defensive back out of Veterans High School, Scott was a three-time All-State selection and a four-time 1st Team All-Region athlete.
Naahlyee Bryant
A linebacker transfer from Western Michigan University, Bryant comes to UNI after appearing in 21 games in two years for the Broncos. He was a three-star recruit coming out of High School.
Khai West
A defensive back transfer from Minnesota State Mankato, West comes to UNI after being named the NSIC Defensive Newcomer of the Year. His season with the Mavericks saw five interceptions, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one sack, 10 pass breakups, and 38 tackles.
Kolben Miller
A linebacker transfer from Iowa Central Community College, Miller comes to the Panthers after being named an ICCAC 1st Team All-Conference selection and a 1st Team All-Region linebacker.
