UNI soccer named a United Soccer Coaches 2021-22 team academic award recipient

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- For the fourth year in a row, UNI soccer has been recognized for their success in the classroom.
Panther soccer has been named a United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award recipient for the fifth time in program history. United Soccer Coaches announced their 2021-22 Team Academic Award recipients before the beginning of the 2022-23 season.
To qualify for the award, teams must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The women's soccer team posted a cumulative 3.66 team GPA in the 2021-22 academic year. This is the fourth consecutive year that the team has been named a recipient of the award along with its first recognition in 2017.
The United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of soccer teams with student athletes who are recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year.
