Panthers start MVC Swim and Dive Championships strong

IOWA CITY, Iowa - The University of Northern Iowa Swim and Dive team placed third in the 200 Medley Relay in the first race of the 2022 MVC Championships.Â
Helena Heuberger, Mia Savicevic, Lauren Havertape, and Faith Larsen aided in the UNI 200 medley finish of 1 minute, 42.29 seconds.
The UNI 800 freestyle relay consisted of Amber Finke, Abbie Bangs, Natalia Verastegui, and Sarah Walpole who placed fourth with a time of 7:26.43.
The UNI Swim and Dive team will be back at the pool 11 a.m. Thursday for the preliminary races. Fans can follow along via MeetMobile or DiveMeets and can watch the meet live on the Youtube Live Stream Link.Â
