UNI women's basketball reschedules home game against Evansville

ST. LOUIS -- The Missouri Valley Conference has announced a makeup date for two postponed MVC women's basketball games.
The Conference has announced the rescheduled dates for Northern Iowa's postponed game with Evansville, originally scheduled for Dec. 30, in Cedar Falls, Iowa and Indiana State's postponed game with Southern Illinois, originally scheduled for Jan. 27, in Terre Haute, Indiana.
The Panthers will now host the Purple Aces on Tuesday, February 8 for a 6 PM CT tipoff, while the Sycamores will now host the Salukis on Wednesday, February 9 for a 5 PM CT tipoff.
UNI's game against Evansville will be the final game of four over the course of seven days. The last time the Panthers had four games over seven days was the 2017-2018 postseason when UNI made it to the MVC Championship and the first round of the WNIT.
All four games will be at home for the Panthers, a common occurrence for UNI over the past three seasons. The Panthers had a five-game homestand last season to close out the month of February and a four-game homestand in 2020 from Jan. 31 to Feb. 9.
