UNI Tennis Closes Day One at the Creighton Invite

OMAHA, Nebraska - The Panthers closed the first day of the Bluejay invite with 5 singles wins on Friday at the Koch Family Tennis Center.
Darta Dalecka and Emma Carr both got third set wins, playing flight A and B respectively. In flight C, Thaissa Moreira lost 6-1 6-0. Lorena Cardoso, Anna Brkic and Issa Sullivan earned wins in straight sets. Olivia Fain's match went into a rain delay at 6-2, 4-2 and will be resumed on Day 2.Â
In doubles, the Panthers played a hidden dual against Augustana University, meaning that two teams played each other in a dual format, but the results are strictly for individually records. Matches were delayed three hours because of rain on Friday.Â
