UNI Women's Golf in Second at MVC Championships

ST. CHARLES, Missouri – The UNI women's golf team finished the opening day of the MVC Championship in second place after carding a 36 hole 614. The Panthers trail Evansville (604) by 10 strokes.
Emily Snelling leads the Panthers, currently tied for second after an even par 72 in the first round. Snelling finished with a 78 on the second round to finish with a 150, two strokes behind the 36 hole leader, Sophia Rehleder (Evansville).
Sydney Eaton finished 76-78 to tie for fourth at 151. Hannah Bermel finished with a 153 and tied for eighth while Allison Nuss carded a 161 and Hailey Bermel finished with a 164.
The Panthers will play the final 18 holes on the MVC Championship at Bogey Hills Golf Club on Tuesday. Final day scoring can be found at golfstat.com.
