Karli Rucker Named MVC Scholar First-Team

ST. LOUIS – Karli Rucker was named Missouri Valley Conference first-team Scholar-Athlete. It is her third Scholar team recognition and but her first-career first-team honor.
Rucker, a two-time first-team All-MVC point guard, carries a 3.54 GPA in Elementary Education. She earned second-team scholar honors in 2020 and 2019.
Rucker leads the Panthers in scoring (13.6 ppg), field goals made (116), three-pointers made (32), points (313) and assists (95).
She earned MVC Player of the Week honors in early January after scoring a career-high 32 points against Valparaiso.
The Panthers open Hoops in Heartland as the No. 4 seed and face fifth-seeded Bradley, Friday at 2 p.m.
