Finley Region MVP, Maahs All-Region Team

ROCKFORD, Ill. – Kam Finley was named the Women's National Invitational Rockford Region MVP and Megan Maahs was named to the all-tournament team, tournament organizer Triple Crown Sports announced Monday evening.
Finley averaged a team-high 15.3 points per game, tallied a team-high 12 assists compared to just two turnovers and was 14-28 (50%) from the field and 9-14 (64.3%) from the three-point line.
She led the Panthers with 23 points against Dayton and 14 against Saint Louis to help UNI advance to the WNIT semifinals, the deepest WNIT run in postseason history.
Maahs averaged 10.7 points per game, including a team-high 20 against Creighton. She averaged 7.7 rebounds per game, including 10 in the win over Saint Louis.
The Panthers move on to the WNIT semifinals in Memphis where they meet Memphis Regional Champions Ole Miss Friday at 7 p.m.
SEMIFINAL TICKETS
Tickets for both semifinal games, hosted at Collierville High School in Collierville, Tenn., are now on sale and can be purchased here: http://bit.ly/PostWNIT. Each game will allow 600 fans. Tickets will only be sold online. Tickets for the championship game slated for Sunday, March 28 at 1 p.m. CT will go on sale immediately follow the last semifinal game.
