Softball 2021 Schedule

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The UNI softball team has released their schedule for the 2021 season. The Panthers will host 15 home games including five at the UNI Dome and ten at the Robinson-Dresser Sports Complex.
The Panthers will open the 2021 season playing in the Doc Halverson UNI-Dome Classic from Feb 12-14. UNI will play in five games in three days, competing against Butler and Iowa State on Feb 12, South Dakota State and Nebraska-Omaha on Feb 13, UNI will close out the tournament with Nebraska Omaha against on Feb. 14.
The Panthers will hit the road for the first time for two games against Lipscomb on Feb. 24.
UNI will then travel for three straight road tournaments from Feb 26-Mar 14. The Panthers start the three week road trip at Samford University Feb 26-Feb 28, competing against both Samford and Louisiana Monroe twice.
The team will then travel to the University of Alabama from Mar 5-Mar 7, to face off against South Alabama, Alabama, and Kent State.
For the final tournament of the trip the Panthers will play five games at the University of Kansas from Mar 12-Mar 14, taking on South Dakota, Kansas, and three more games that are yet to be determined.
UNI will then begin conference play starting in back to back road swings against Missouri State on Mar 20-21 followed by Indiana State on Mar 27-28. The Panthers will then host a series of home games with Evansville on Apr 2-3, as well as a break in conference play action on Wednesday Apr 7 when UNI takes on in state rival Iowa State, followed by Valparaiso on Apr 10-11.
The Panthers will then hit the road again playing Loyola on Apr 17-18, followed by Drake on Apr 20. A series of home games will bring the Panthers back to Robinson-Dresser when UNI hosts Bradly on Apr 24-25 and Drake on Apr 27.
The Panthers will begin the month of May traveling to Illinois State on May 1-2 and return home to end the regular season against Southern Illinois on May 7-8. The Panthers will then travel to the MVC Tournament in Evansville, Indiana on May 12-15.
