EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – The UNI women's tennis team dropped its Sunday morning road match against SIU-Edwardsville, 6-1.
The Panthers had a strong start, securing the doubles point with wins on the No. 1 and No. 3 courts. Sophomore Emma Carr and junior Olivia Fain defeated Fabiola Perez/Jordan Schifano, 6-4, on the No. 1 court. On the No. 3 court, senior Madeline Doherty/freshman Issa Sullivan downed Callaghan Adams/Caitlyn Sporing, 7-5.
SIUE swept the Purple and Gold in singles action.

The Panthers are set to host Upper Iowa on Mar. 5 at the Black Hawk Tennis Club in Waterloo.
