Panther Tennis Signs Kansas Standout Sullivan

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI Tennis today announced the signing of Shawnee, Kansas, native and De Soto High School standout Issa Sullivan to a national letter of intent.
Sullivan comes to UNI after a stellar prep career that included a 71-9 singles record (.888), the highest winning percentage in school history. She was a three-time 5A All-State selection and was twice the regional singles champion. She was the 2018 Unanimous United Kansas Conference Player of the Year. She is ranked the No. 3 recruit in Kansas by tennisrecruiting.net ranked her the No. 3 recruit in Kansas.
She was a four-time member of the USTA Missouri Valley Zonal Team and twice won the Team Sportsmanship Award.
Sullivan is a two-time Academic All-State honoree and was a four-year honor roll student. She is a member of the National Honor Society.
The Panthers are underway in the 2020 spring season and next compete on the road at Ball State on Feb. 14.
