ST. LOUIS, Missouri - UNI Swimming and Diving senior Moriah Ross was named the Missouri Valley Conference Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday. This is the first time Ross has earned the honor this season. Ross joins four other Panthers to earn weekly honors from the conference this season.

In the last home meet of her career, Ross lead the way for the Panthers. Competing against Nebraska-Omaha, she had first place finishes in the 100 Breast (1:04.86) and the 200 Breast (2:21.80). She was also on the first place relay teams in the 200 Medley (1:46.91) and 200 Free Relay (1:39.07). Ross and the rest of the seniors were honored as a part of senior day festivities before the meet.

Other Panthers to receive weekly honors from the MVC this season include divers Jayden Lovell and Taylor Hogan and swimmers Sydney Schmidt and Katie Taylor, who has earned the honor three times.

Ross and the Panthers will go on the road this weekend for a two-day meet in Ames, where they will compete against the Cyclones and North Texas.
