Panther Volleyball Defeats Green Bay 3-0

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin – The UNI volleyball team took on the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay on Saturday afternoon, sweeping the Phoenix 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-18). The Panthers now move to 6-7 on the season.
Three Panthers finished with double digit kills in Karlie Taylor (13), Emily Holterhaus (11), and Kate Busswitz (10). Emily Holterhaus finished with a .476 hitting percentage with 21 total attacks. Carly Spies was the most efficient attacker with a .700 hitting percentage, recording 7 kills on 10 total attacks.
Rachel Koop finished with 36 assists and surpassed the 2,000 career assists mark, just the 10th Panther to reach the mark. Four Panthers finished with double digit digs with libero Abbi Staack leading the way with 22. Rachel Koop recorded 14 digs while Baylee Petersen finished with 12 and Karlie Taylor ended with 11.
The Panthers finished with 10 total blocks in the match with Inga Rotto tallying 4 total blocks. Karlie Taylor recorded two solo blocks, the only solo blocks recorded for the Panthers.
