UNI Volleyball Releases Fall Schedule

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI volleyball has released its schedule for the 2019 season and the release date for season tickets.
Fans will get the opportunity to watch nine conference matches along with the UNI Tournament, consisting of UNI, Creighton, Kentucky, and USC.
The Panthers will open the season in Texas with back to back dates against Texas and Texas State. The Team will head to Ames, Iowa for a match with the Cyclones of Iowa State and then travel to the Missouri Tournament and then wrap up the non-conference schedule with the Marquette Tournament.
The Panthers are coming off a 24-10 season that saw two top 20 wins over #13 Creighton and #5 Kentucky. The Panthers won a share of the MVC Regular Season Championship and won the MVC Tournament. With the conference tournament title the Panthers advanced to the NCAA Tournament for 23rd time in program history and the 14th time in Bobbi Petersen's tenure as head coach.
The Panthers lost seniors Piper Thomas, Kendyl Sorge and Lexi Astor to graduation but will return MVC First Team members Rachel Koop and Karlie Taylor and Second Team members Kate Busswitz and Jaydlin Seehase.
UNI volleyball season tickets will go on sale on May 6 for just $55. For more information on season tickets contact the UNI Ticket Office at 319-273-4849.
