Haldeman, McDonnell Earn Postseason Honors

ST. LOUIS, Missouri – Luke McDonnell and Spencer Haldeman earned All-MVC recognition on Wednesday morning, earning spots on the MVC Most Improved Team and the MVC All-Bench Team respectively.

Luke McDonnell earned a spot on the MVC Most-Improved Team after averaging 7.5 points in the regular season after scoring 2.0 points per game a year ago. McDonnell played in all 31 games with 31 starts for the Panthers after playing in just 11 games last season. The junior forward hauled in 131 rebounds including a team-high 59 offensive rebounds. McDonnell recorded a double-double against Evansville on January 26, scoring 10 points and hauled in 14 rebounds.

Junior Spencer Haldeman was named to the MVC All-Bench Team after ranking third on the team with 7.9 points per game. Haldeman was named the league's Co-Sixth Man of the Year on Tuesday, the junior guard played in all 31 games for the Panthers averaging 22 minutes per game. Haldeman ends the regular season atop the conference in free throw percentage making 86.2 of his attempts from the charity stripe.
