Panther Track and Field Opens at Jim Duncan Invite

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI track and field begins the outdoor season at the Jim Duncan Invite Friday and Saturday at Drake University.
The events are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at Drake Stadium at the Jim Duncan Track in Des Moines.
The Panthers enter the season as the defending MVC Champions on the men's side and are led by returning All-American Jacob Smith, shot put record holder Keegan Tritle and MVC Indoor Championship Most Outstanding Athlete Connor Ham.
The UNI women finished fourth in the outdoor championship in 2018 and are led by returning all-conference honorees McKayla Cole and Lauren Beauchamp and Maddie McCalla who was a double medalist at the Indoor Championship.
The Panthers join Drake, North Dakota and other small schools at the meet.
