DES MOINES, Iowa – The Panther volleyball team took on their in-state rival Drake on Friday night, winning the straight sets, with set scores of 25-18, 26-24, 25-17.

The Panthers moved to 21-9 overall and 15-1 in the MVC after defeating the Bulldogs. The win marked the 47^th win in a row over the Bulldogs, the longest win streak in Panther history.

Karlie Taylor led the Panther offense with 17 kills. Taylor recorded her 21^st double-double of the season, finishing with 17 kills and 17 digs on the night.

Kate Busswitz totaled 13 kills on 25 swings for a .280 hitting percentage. The junior middle hitter also recorded 2 block assists and 1 digs on the night. Kaylissa Arndorfer recorded at .529 hitting percentage with 11 kills on 17 swings. Arndofer added 3 total blocks on the night.

Rachel Koop finished with 43 assists on the night, moving into 8^th all-time in career assists at UNI. Libero Abbi Staack recorded a team high 17 digs on the night with defensive specialist Baylee Petersen finishing with 8 digs.

The Panthers, now 21-9 overall and 15-1 in the MVC, will host the Ramblers of Loyola and the Crusaders of Valparaiso for the final home stand of the regular season. The Panthers have defeated both teams early this season, beating Valparaiso 3-0 on September 30 and Loyola 3-1 on Oct 21. Friday's match with Loyola will begin at 6 pm while Saturday's match with begin at 7 pm, both matches can be viewed on ESPN+.
