THE SERIES
The Panthers and Ramblers will take the floor for just the 19th time on Monday night. A short history for two MVC teams, the 18 matches have been one sided, with the Panthers taking the victory in every matchup. The series dates back to 1985 but the two teams just recently started to play consistently with Loyola's entrance into the Missouri Valley Conference. The Panthers have won the last six matches in 3-0 sweeps.

THE PANTHERS
• The 7-1 Panthers take on 7-1 Ramblers of Loyola, winner stands alone atop the conference leader board.

• The Panthers have never lost to the Ramblers, holding a perfect 18-0 series record.

• Rachel Koop leads the country in total assists with 856.

• The Panthers opened MVC play with six victories before falling to the Redbirds of Illinois State in 5 sets. Now 7-1 in the Valley, the Panthers hold a 23-6 set record in league play.

• Bobbi Petersen closes in on 500 career victories, just 2 wins away from the historic mark.

• Karlie Taylor continues to rise up the UNI career kills leader-board, ranking 5th all-time with 1,495 career kills.

• Rachel Koop ranks 10th in UNI career assists with 2,424.

• The Panthers return five starters including First Team All-MVC selections Rachel Koop and Karlie Taylor and Second Team All-MVC selections Kate Busswitz and Jaydlin Seehase.

• Bobbi Petersen enters the 2019 season with a career 485-151 record, 15 wins away from 500 and 18 wins away from becoming the UNI all-time wins leader.

• Bobbi Petersen's 485 wins ranks 28th in NCAA Division I coaching victories. Petersen's .763 winning percentage is the 8th highest among active Division I coaches.

• Rachel Koop returns to set the Panther offense after averaging 11.97 assist per set in 2018, leading the conference and ranking 5th nationally. Rachel Koop ranks 10th in career assists per set with a 9.19 average.

• Karlie Taylor returns for her senior season after recording 4.77 kills per set in 2018, ranking 6th nationally. Karlie Taylor ranks 2nd all-time at UNI in kills per set with a career average of 3.86.

• Taylor is the only player in UNI history to record multiple 500 kill seasons.
