Weymiller Named to FCS ADA Academic All-Star Team

CLEVELAND – Marcus Weymiller can add one more academic honor to his already impressive career. For the second consecutive season, Weymiller was named to the 2018 FCS Athletic Directors Association Academic All-Star Team.
Weymiller closed his season with 964 yards rushing and seven touchdowns. He also added 151 receiving yards and two touchdowns to lead UNI with nine total touchdowns. He closed his career with 2,014 career rushing yards.
On top of his strong season on the field, he continued to produce in the classroom. Weymiller graduated this fall with a 3.97 GPA in political science and plans to attend law school.
He also earned First Team CoSIDA Academic All-America Honors.
The Athletic Directors Association honored 46 athletes on the Academic All-Star team, including seven from the Missouri Valley Conference.
