UNI Dance Team Holds 2019 Prep Clinic in February

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI dance team is hosting a clinic designed to help prep those interested in trying out for the dance team in the future.

Participants are not required to try out at a later date, and the experience is geared toward helping anyone interested in any college dance team.
The event costs $40 and is set at the NU Gym on the UNI campus for 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 2. Cash or checks made out of the UNI Dance Team will be accepted. Registration will begin at 12 p.m.

The clinic is open to all high school students and current college students. Participants will learn the style and technique of a college dance team. Dancers will learn a pom, jazz, and hip-hop combination utilizing style and technical elements.

Participants also will have the opportunity to break out into technique groups with varied levels of difficulty.
