UNI Track and Field Competes at Hawkeye Invite

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI track and field team returns to action Saturday at the Hawkeye Invite in Iowa City. The Panthers compete with seven other teams, including a pair of MVC foes in Bradley and Loyola.
The meet is the first of 2019 and the first of the season to include a full contingent of UNI athletes.
The meet begins with jumps at 10 a.m. Saturday at the UI Rec Building. The running events are slated to begin at 12:30 p.m. with the 60m hurdles.
The Panther contingent includes Maddie McCalla and Evan Long who set school records in the 300m dash at the Jimmy Grant Invite in December.
Admission to the event is free.
