Dunne Named to CFPA POTY Watch List

CHARLESTON, S.C. – UNI football quarterback Eli Dunne has been named to the 2018 College Football Performance Awards FCS Performer of the Year Trophy Watch List.
The list includes 36 players from across the country, including six from the Missouri Valley Football Conference.
Dunne passed for 2,704 yards and 26 touchdowns in 2017 to lead the Panther offense. He had a 62.6 completion percentage.
He led the Panthers to an 8-5 record and a second-round appearance in the FCS playoffs.
UNI is ranked 12th in the coaches' preseason poll and 13th in the STATS FCS Media Preseason Poll.
The Panthers open the season at No. 25/24 Montana on Sept. 1 in Missoula. The home opener against Hampton (Va.) is scheduled for Sept. 22.
