Panthers Fall Short Against Drake 4-3

DES MOINES, Iowa—The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team fell short against Drake this afternoon, 4-3.

Harri Proudfoot won at the No. 4 singles slot for the Panthers, defeating Alex Kozlowski 6-3, 6-0. Due to an injury in the No. 1 doubles spot for Drake, Savanna Hunt received a default win in the No. 6 singles.

Claudia Toledo and Savanna Hunt defeated Kozlowski and Mela Jaglarz in the No. 3 doubles spot, 6-4. Gisela Kemper and Reghan Lynch earned a win in the No. 1 doubles spot, after Summer Brills and Joely Lomas retired due to injury.

The Panthers head to Ball State on April 6 for a 1:30 p.m. match.
