Panthers Add 21 to 2018 Roster

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa football program and head coach Mark Farley announced the addition of 21 student-athletes to the 2018 roster on Wednesday, securing yet another stellar recruiting class for the Panthers.

UNI added depth and talent to an already stacked 2018 football squad, that returns 26 players who made starts on offense and defense in 2017. Overall, the 2018 recruiting class features 18 high school athletes and three transfers.

Last year's squad earned an 8-5 record and defeated three Top-10 foes on its way to the program's 19th FCS Playoff berth. The Panthers also succeeded on the postseason award's stage, after seven different players earned All-American honors which was the most since 2007.
