Panthers Top Milwaukee 4-3

WATERLOO, Iowa—The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team defeated the Milwaukee Panthers this afternoon, 4-3.
The Panthers split the singles matches, with each team winning three.
Reghan Lynch went the distance in the no. 2 singles, defeated Loren Nelson 6-4, 3-6, 6-1. Claudia Toledo and Agata Jurczak trade sets, before Toledo pulled away 1-6, 6-4, 6-2. Gisela Kemper defeated Labin Petrovska 6-4, 7-5 in the no. 1 spot.
Harri Proudfoot fell to Daniel Fuentes at the no. 3 singles spot, 6-3, 6-4. Valentina Caro and Clarke would go the distance in the No. 5 set, with Clarke coming out on top 6-3, 4-6, 6-1. Hunt and Harper would meet in the no. 6 singles, with Harper winning 6-4, 6-4.
Kemper and Lynch would defeat Petrovska and Anna Daniel Fuentes 6-4 in the no. 1 doubles spot. Toledo and Savanna Hunt would defeat Nicole Clarke and Lucy Harper, 7-6 (5).
The Panthers return to action, as they travel to Nebraska for dual matches against Omaha and Creighton Feb. 16 and 17.
