UNI Cheer Hosts Youth Clinic Noon Jan. 13

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI cheer squad is hosting a youth clinic that gives participants a chance to perform at a UNI men's basketball game.

The clinic is set for noon to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 13. The performance will be at the game against Drake that follows at 3 p.m. Jan. 13.

The clinic is open to boys and girls from kindergarten through eighth grade. The cost is $35 and includes a T-shirt and the participant's admission to the game.

Registration starts at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 13. The clinic will be held on courts 7-8 at UNI's Wellness and Recreation Center on UNI's campus. Cash or check will be accepted at registration on the day of the clinic.

Participants are asked to register online and should eat lunch before attending the clinic. The material learned at the clinic will be performed by the participants at the halftime of the men's game.
