PEORIA, Illinois – The #25 UNI volleyball team handled the Braves of Bradley University Friday night, sweeping the MVC's third ranked team 25-22, 25-19, 25-23.

The Panthers and Braves traded points all match long with the Panthers edging the Braves in the final moments of each set. Collectively the Panthers hit .236 with 44 total kills.

After two matches off, Karlie Taylor returned to the starting lineup and led the Panthers in kills with 14 while also recording seven digs. Offensively, Kate Busswitz recorded eight kills on 16 total attacks for a team leading .438 attack percentage.

Piper Thomas continued her dominant play Friday night, finishing with eight kills and a .368 attack percentage while Jaydlin Seehase recorded nine kills and five digs.

Rachel Koop finished the night with 37 assists and Kendyl Sorge added 20 digs to her season total.

The Panthers continue their MVC schedule on Saturday, November 3 when they travel to Normal, Illinois for a showdown with the Redbirds of Illinois State. The Redbirds are currently second in the MVC with their only loss coming from the Panthers back on October 6 in Cedar Falls.
