UNI Athletics Provides Free Tickets For Educators on Nov. 17

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – UNI Athletics has announced the details for the Elevating Educators football game against Missouri State set for Nov. 17.
Educators who work with children from birth through grade 12 are eligible to receive two free football game tickets. The original offer that included tailgate tickets and a t-shirt has reached the registration limit, but educators are still encouraged to register to receive two free game tickets.
Additional tickets for the game and tailgate can be purchased for $10 per person.
Educators can register for the event online. Registration will close Nov. 9.
Elevating Educators is a new initiative by UNI Athletics and the University of Northern Iowa that seeks to recognize and elevate professional educators in Iowa, nationwide and throughout the world.
"UNI Athletics is excited to have an opportunity to partner with our campus community to honor professional educators," said David Harris, UNI director of athletics. "Elevating Educators is an initiative that will bring much needed attention to the important role that these men and women play in our society. This partnership allows us the chance to pay homage to our history as an institution while giving respect to educators across the world. We're excited to host these educators in the UNI-Dome on Nov. 17 for the game and tailgate."
