 • The Panthers will get back to conference play this week, hosting Valparaiso on Friday and Loyola on Saturday in the McLeod Center.
• The Panthers continued their undefeated start to league play last weekend with Friday's thrilling 3-2 victory over in-state rival Drake.
• UNI currently leads the Valley in hitting percentage (.274) kills per set (15.89) and assists per set (14.97).
• Karlie Taylor owns a league-high 4.81 kills per set while Rachel Koop tops the conference at 11.70 assists per set.
• Within MVC-only action, Karlie Taylor paces all individuals with 4.86 kills per set and leads the league in points per set with 5.39.
• Piper Thomas holds a league high .415 attack percentage.
• Nationally, Karlie Taylor ranks 8th in kills per set and 15th in total points.
• Nationally, Rachel Koop ranks 5th in assists per set
• UNI is ranked 20th nationally in the NCAA's RPI release from October 22. The Panthers are also receiving votes in the AVCA Top 25, with 23 votes the Panthers have the second most points for a team not in the top 25.
• This is the 29th consecutive season that at least 10 Iowa natives are on the UNI roster including the second year in a row that 14 of the 15 Panthers are from Iowa. Each of UNI's last 8,785 points played dating back through last season have been played with only Iowans on the court.
• UNI returns four of seven starters from last year, including Honorable Mention All-America honorees Karlie Taylor and Piper Thomas, MVC All-Freshman pick Jaydlin Seehase and libero Kendyl Sorge.
• The Panthers rank No. 8 all-time in NCAA Division I winning percentage (.773). UNI trails only Penn State (.863), Hawaii (.852), Nebraska (.843), Florida (.833), Stanford (.813), BYU (.778) and UCLA (.774).
• UNI, Hawaii, Nebraska, Stanford, Penn State and UCLA lead the nation with 37 consecutive non-losing seasons in NCAA Division I volleyball. UNI has also posted 33 straight NCAA Division I winning seasons – the fifth-longest active streak in the nation behind Hawaii (37), Nebraska (37), Penn State (37) and Stanford (37).
• Head coach Bobbi Petersen is in her 19th year at the helm of the Panther program with a record of 475-147. She has led the Panthers to 13 NCAA Tournament appearances.

UNDEFEATED IN MVC
The Panthers were again tested but came out with the five set victory over in-state rival Drake last week. Panthers are 10-0 on MVC play.
The Panthers will host the 20-5 (7-3 MVC) Crusaders and then take on the 13-9 (5-5 MVC) Ramblers of Loyola.

VALPARAISO CRUSADERS
The Crusaders are currently 13-9 with a match Friday against Drake. Valparaiso is 5-5 in the MVC and sit in fourth place.
The Crusaders rank third in the conference in team digs, fourth in blocks, fifth in hitting percentage, kills, and service aces and sixth in assists.
Peyton McCarthy leads the Crusaders in blocks with 37, averaging 1.32 per set, a mark good enough for second in the conference.
UNI leads the series, 8-0.

LOYOLA RAMBLERS
Loyola has had an up and down season so far sitting at 13-9 overall and 5-5 in the conference.
Currently in sixth place in the conference they will have a lot of work to do to catch the top teams.
Loyola leads the conference in team blocks so far this year with 106, averaging 2.86 per set, almost a half block more per set then the second best team.
The Ramblers have three players in the league's top ten in blocks with Heather Kocken leading the conference with 51.
UNI leads the series 18-0.

PINK UNI VOLLEYBALL SHIRTS
UNI volleyball is selling pink shirts for fans to wear at the annual pink game. This year's Pink Out is set when UNI hosts Valparaiso in the McLeod Center at 7 p.m. Oct. 26. Shirts cost $10 and may be picked up in the volleyball office or the night of the Oct. 26 match. TRICK OR TREAT
Prior to Saturday's match, fans are encouraged to dress up and trick or treat on the McLeod Center concourse where there will be plenty of candy to go around. Trick or treating will begin at when doors open at 6 pm. Â
