CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team open their home season on Oct. 13 at 2 pm.
South Dakota State, Western Illinois, and Valparaiso come to the Glen F. Henry Pool for a quadrangular meet. The men's teams of SDSU, Western Illinois, and Valparaiso will also compete.
Crystal Florman was named the MVC Swimmer of the week, grabbing three individual first-place finishes, in addition to a pair of relay wins.
It will be a return to the Glen F. Henry pool for South Dakota State head coach, Doug Humphrey. Humphrey was the head UNI swimming and diving coach from 2012 to 2017.
Last Time in Action
The Panthers opened the 2018-19 season on the road at Nebraska and UNO. The Panthers defeated UNO before falling to Nebraska. Katie Taylor, Crystal Florman, and Moriah Ross all had strong performances for the Panthers over the weekend, including multiple first-place finishes.
