IOWA CITY, Iowa—The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team fell to Iowa this evening, 7-0.
Senior Gisela Kemper fell to Elise van Heuvelen 6-2, 6-0 in the no. 1 singles match.
Yufei Long topped Reghan Lynch in the no. 2 spot 6-0, 6-0.
Harri Proudfoot fell 6-2, 6-3 to Anastasia Reimchen. Kate Merrick was defeated by Montana Crawford in the no. 4 singles 7-5, 6-3.
Danielle Burish defeated Valentina Caro 6-0, 6-2 in the no. 5 singles. Savanna Hunt fell in the no. 6 singles 6-1, 6-0 to Adorabol Huckleby.
In doubles play, Kemper and Lynch were defeated 6-1 by Zoe Douglas and Long in the no. 1 doubles. In the no. 3 doubles, Merrick and Claudia Toledo fell 6-0 to Reimchen and Huckleby.
