NORMAL, Ill.—The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team fell in action today at the MVC Championship to Stony Brook, 4-0.

Stony Brook swept the doubles point to go up, 1-0.

UNI senior Astrid Santos competed in the No. 2 singles, before falling to Yana Nikolaeva, 6-2, 6-2. Sydney Wolfe fell to Nadia Smergut, 6-3, 6-3 in the No. 4 spot. Eve Small would face off against Ana Rodriguez as Rodriguez took the set, 6-1, 6-1.

UNI returns three athletes from this year's squad for next season. The Panthers finish the season 8-10 and 1-6 MVC.
