UNI Announces 2017 Home Kickoff Times

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa football program announced its home kickoff starting times today, giving UNI fans a chance to cheer on the Panthers five times in the UNI-Dome in 2017.
UNI is 63-22 in Cedar Falls against its 2017 home scheduled opponents. Head coach Mark Farley will enter his 17th season at the helm for the Panthers after becoming UNI's all-time wins leader in 2016.
The Panthers host the Cal Poly Mustangs on Saturday, Sep. 9 for their home opener with kickoff at 4 p.m. The last time the two teams faced off was in 2015 when UNI picked up a 34-20 road victory with UNI holding a 6-1 advantage in the all-time series against the Mustangs.
UNI welcomes Western Illinois to the UNI-Dome on Oct. 7 for Homecoming at 4 p.m. after spending two weeks on the road. The game against Youngstown State on Oct. 21 will serve as Family Weekend with kickoff at 1 p.m. The Panthers are 12-3 against the Penguins when playing in Cedar Falls.
UNI enters the month of November with a home game against the South Dakota Coyotes on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 1 p.m. before hosting its regular season finale on Nov. 18 against Indiana State at 4 p.m. for Senior Day.
