The Panthers end the 2017 season, setting the record this season in victories (14), goals (34), assists (29), shots (309) and shutouts (11). The Panthers final record is 14-5-1.Â
"I thought our team responded well. Jordyn stepped in nicely when Jami (Reichenberger) went down. I was surprised by how physical the officials let the game be. The fire is lit for next year and we need that fire. I'm so proud of this team and the effort they put forth today," UNI head coach Bruce Erickson said.Â
UNI's Sydney Hayden received the Elite 17 award, honoring academic and athletic performances. Brynell Yount, Kelsey Yarrow, and Allison Bitter were named to the all-tournament team.Â
