Wolfe Wins Consolation Title at Gopher Invitational

MINNEAPOLIS--Senior Sydney Wolfe took the consolation title in the E Flight of the Gopher Invitational today.

Singles Action

Wolfe defeated Kenzi Hill of North Dakota, 6-0, 6-3 to take the title.

Senior Astrid Santos took second place in the consolation match of the C Flight, falling 6-4, 6-3 to Rita Timakova of Iowa State.

Elvira Lopez would take seventh place in the B Flight, defeating Michelle Lo of Nebraska-Omaha, 6-0, 3-6, 10-3.

Jieke Stroobant fell to Zoe Douglas of Iowa, 5-0 and was injured as Douglas took thirteenth place in the A Flight.

Doubles Action

Jieke Stroobant and Sydney Wolfe defeated Ramero/Sviben of South Dakota State, 6-1.

Elvira Lopez and Astrid Santos defeated Velazco/Van Dijk of South Dakota State, 6-0.
