CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois Salukis scored its fourth straight Missouri Valley Conference women's tennis victory on Saturday over the University of Northern Iowa Panthers, 7-0
UNI did pick up a victory at No. 2 doubles from Astrid Santos and Gisela Kemper over SIU's Meagan Mohaghan and Vitoria Beirao, 6-3. Santos and Kemper improve to 4-3 at No. 2 doubles and even their mark at 2-2 in MVC doubles play.
SIU moves to 12-9 overall and 4-0 in MVC play. UNI drops to 3-14 overall and 0-4 in league action.
The Panthers will be in action Sunday in Evansville, Ind., against the Evansville Purple Aces. The match will get underway at 10 a.m.
