FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The No. 12-ranked Colorado State women's volleyball squad posted a 3-0 sweep of the University of Northern Iowa Panthers on Saturday night at Moby Arena. The Rams won by set scores of 25-19, 25-16, 25-18.

UNI (1-2 overall) received a team-high eight kills from Jaidyn Blanchfield. UNI setter Heather Hook notched 22 assists to go along with seven digs. Hook earned a spot on the Rams Volleyball Classic All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the three-day tournament. Hook averaged 9.83 assists/set and 2.67 digs/set in the tournament.
Amie Held recorded a team-high 20 digs. Bri Weber notched her third consecutive double-digit dig match with 14 digs against the Rams.
Colorado State enjoyed a 42-28 advantage in kills and the Rams hit .236 for the match compared to .039 for the Panthers.
The Panthers will return home and open play this season in the McLeod Center on Friday and Saturday by playing host to the UNI Tournament. UNI will take on Kentucky on Friday at 6:30 p.m. The Panthers will then match up against Creighton (12 p.m.) and Southern California (7:30 p.m.) on Saturday. Tickets are available for both Friday ($5) and Saturday ($10) action at the UNI Tournament. Call the UNI ticket office at 319-273-4849 to reserve your tickets.
