PANTHER CHAMPIONS SCHOLARSHIP FUND
BECOME A CHAMPION Â -Â "A PANTHER CHAMPION"Â
The UNI Panther Scholarship Club (PSC) has been a key player in ensuring athletic scholarship support at UNI remains strong. The PSC, however, has not been able to keep pace with the annual increase in athletic scholarship costs. In order to continue the unprecedented athletic success at UNI, measures must be taken to keep pace with the rising cost of intercollegiate athletics. One measure, in particular, that will have a lasting impact on UNI athletics will be the Panther Champions Endowment Fund.Â

How can you help? How can you become a champion? The Panther Champions Endowment Fund offers opportunities for you to enhance the experience of approximately 400 student athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics at UNI.Â

When you make your gift to the Panther Champions Endowment Fund, you make a perpetual gift to give student athletes the opportunity to excel both academically and athletically. A perpetually named, comprehensive in-state scholarship endowment can be established with a gift of $440,000. An in-state tuition only scholarship endowment begins at $212,000. The minimum allowable amount to establish a named scholarship endowment is $30,000. Endowments may be paid over a five-year period.

Another way to support UNI athletics that is equally important is through a named annually funded scholarship. Donors who make a $3,000 annual gift to the Panther Champions Fund can attach their name to this annual scholarship. Gifts of this type will not be endowed but will play a critical role in the annual support of UNI athletics. Named annually funded scholarships will continue as long as the donor continues supporting their scholarship on a yearly basis. Just like an endowment, the donor may select which sport he or she wishes to support.Â
