Drake Stops UNI in MVC Semifinals, 4-0

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team saw it season come to an end on Saturday in the semifinals of the 2015 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. Drake posted a 4-0 victory over UNI to advance to the MVC championship.
Drake (21-5 overall) won the first two doubles matches at No. 1 and No. 3 to take an early 1-0 lead. The Bulldogs kept the pressure on the Panthers in singles with Drake picking up the first two wins from No. 6 Lea Kozulic over UNI's Sydney Wolfe and from No. 2 Maddie Johnson over UNI's Elvira Lopez. The Bulldogs closed out the dual victory with a win at No. 5 singles from Adrienne Jensen as she got past UNI's Gisela Kemper.
UNI completes the season with a dual mark of 16-7. UNI's 16 wins are the most for the program since the Panthers posted three straight 16 wins seasons in 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11.
