UNI To Host Eastern Illinois In 2015 Division I FCS Playoffs

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa football team will make its 18th NCAA Division I FCS Playoff appearance when they take on Eastern Illinois in the first round, Saturday, Nov. 28 at in the UNI-Dome.
UNI is 15-6-1 all-time against the Eastern Illinois Panthers (7-4 this season), a series that dates back to 1975. The last time UNI and the Ohio Valley Conference foe played each other was in 2001 when UNI picked up a 49-43 win on the road in the first round of the playoffs.
UNI has made 18 NCAA FCS playoff appearances, including back-to-back years hosting a first round game, picking up 20 playoff wins in school history. UNI has won at least one playoff game in 13 of its previous 17 playoff appearances, including a playoff win in nine of the last 10 appearances.
The UNI ticket office will open at 11 a.m. today and stay open through halftime of the women's basketball game against Iowa (2 p.m. start time) for season ticket holders to purchase playoff tickets. Adult and youth tickets are $10 each with UNI students getting into the game free. The general public can purchase through the ticket office beginning Wednesday at 8:30 a.m.

Prices for each FCS Playoff Round:
Round 1: Adults - $10.00, Youth - $10.00, UNI Students – FREE
Rounds 2,3,4: Adults - $15.00, Youth - $15.00, UNI Students – FREE
(All orders will include a $5.00 handling fee per round)
