LOOKING TO STRETCH IT TO SEVEN
With a victory Sunday vs. Richmond, UNI would start a season 7-0 for the first time since the 1963-64 season.
In 1963-64, UNI was under the guidance of head coach Norm Stewart. Stewart led the Panthers to a 23-4 mark that season.
Stewart coached at UNI from 1961-1967 and posted a coaching record of 97-42 before moving on to become the head coach of the Missouri Tigers, where he eventually tallied 728 total wins as a college head coach.
SEARCHING FOR A 7-0 START
UNI is looking to start a season 7-0 for only the fourth time in school history. The previous three times it occurred came in 1922-23, 1924-25 and 1963-64.

PANTHERS CLAIM 3RD MTE TITLE
UNI claimed its third Multi-Team Event (MTE) championship under head coach Ben Jacobson by winning the 2014 Cancun Challenge in Cancun, Mexico.
UNI scored wins in Cancun over the ACC's Virginia Tech Hokies, 73-54, and the Big Ten's Northwestern Wildcats, 61-42.
UNI won the 2010 Las Vegas Classic with victories over Indiana and New Mexico on a neutral floor.
The Panthers captured the 2011 South Padre Island Invitational with wins over Rice and Providence on a neutral floor.
PANTHERS PRETTY DEFENSIVE
UNI is allowing 54.5 points per game and has out-rebounded five of its six opponents. UNI is enjoying a +3.8 rebounding margin per game this season.
