Broadcast Schedule Set For Paradise Jam

September 18, 2013 – St. Thomas, USVI – Basketball Travelers Inc., CBS Sports Network, and The Global Video Network are proud to announce the broadcast schedule and continued partnership for the 14th Annual Ezybonds Global Payments US Virgin Islands Paradise Jam at the University of the Virgin Islands. CBS Sports Network will broadcast the men's first round and semi-final games on Nov. 22 and 24 along with the third place and championship games on Nov. 25. The Global Video Network will live stream all games worldwide via ParadiseJam.com with games on CBS Sports Network only available on ParadiseJam.com outside of the United States.

The men's tournament, held November 22-25, features La Salle, Loyola Marymount, Marist, Maryland, Morgan St., University of Northern Iowa, Providence, and Vanderbilt. Four of this year's tournament entrants earned berths to post season tournaments in March. La Salle had an excellent run in the postseason advancing to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament before falling to Wichita State. Maryland and Providence competed in the NIT and University of Northern Iowa advanced to the Collegeinsider.com Postseason Tournament.

Paradise Jam, held annually at the University of the Virgin Islands, has become one of the premier pre-season destination tournaments for men's basketball. It is a multiple team event (MTE) tournament, counting only two of the three games against participants' 29 allotted games. Hosted at the $11 million state-of-the-art UVI Sports and Fitness Center, Paradise Jam attracts thousands of tourists to the U.S. Virgin Islands each year while immersing participating fans and teams in the culture and travel experience that has made the U.S. Virgin Islands one of the premier destinations in the Caribbean.
