
UNI Soccer Falls to Green Bay, 4-0

GREEN BAY, Wisc. -- The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team lost to Green Bay on Friday evening by a final score of 4-0.
UNI held the Phoenix scoreless until the 44th minute, but Megan Braatz found the back of the net in the final two minutes before halftime. Braatz scored again in the 58th minute to create a two-goal margin.
Ahna Logan and Ella Bump added goals for Green Bay in the final 30 minutes.
UNI rattled off the first three shots of the game, but Green Bay posted a 19-10 shot advantage for the contest. Senior forward Chelsie Hochstedler led the Panthers' offensive attack with three shots.
Freshman Erin Zaideman started in goal for UNI. Freshman Kim Gianos made her UNI debut, playing the final 18 minutes at goalkeeper.
UNI (0-5-0) will wrap up its weekend road swing on Sun., Sept. 12, with a match at Western Michigan. Kickoff is slated for 11 a.m.
