
Panthers Fall 2-1 in Double Overtime Against Indiana State

The University of Northern Iowa Panthers soccer (2-11-2, 0-5) fell 2-1, to Missouri Valley Opponent Indiana State, in a double overtime homecoming battle Saturday afternoon.
Scoring both goals for the Sycamores (5-8-2, 2-2), Senior Midfielder, Kaitlin Owens found the net on a free kick opportunity and in the early minutes of the final overtime.
Panther Senior, Kristin Iehl tallied the only UNI score, sending a strong header past Indiana State goalkeeper, Taylor Nelson.
The UNI soccer team will conclude the 2009 regular season at Creighton University on October 25 at 1pm.
